Terms of Play & Code of Conduct — Artificially Stupid
DYVEXAR Studio · last updated 3 October 2026
The game is sold and licensed to you through Steam under the Steam Subscriber Agreement. These terms add the rules for playing online with other people. By playing online you agree to them.
1. The game is fiction
Artificially Stupid is a comedy and parody made for entertainment only. All companies, characters, products and events in it are fictional; any resemblance to real people, businesses or events is coincidental. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by any real company. It contains cartoon slapstick violence.
2. Code of conduct (voice chat, text chat, names)
When you play online, do not:
- harass, bully, threaten or intimidate anyone;
- post or say hateful content about anyone's race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or age;
- share sexual content, or any content involving minors in a sexual way — this is illegal and is reported;
- encourage self-harm, terrorism, violence or other illegal acts;
- share anyone's personal information (doxxing), or ask children for theirs;
- impersonate DYVEXAR Studio, Valve or other players;
- cheat, exploit bugs to ruin other players' games, or use hacks, bots or modified clients online;
- spam or advertise.
3. Your tools
- Mute anyone from their lobby seat ("M"); muted players' text is hidden and stays hidden next time.
- Steam profile ("i") opens Steam's own Report and Block.
- Report to the studio ("!") opens a pre-filled email to dyvexarstudio@gmail.com. Say what happened.
- Voice chat can be switched off in PREFERENCES. You can leave any match at any time.
4. What we do with reports
We read every report, act on clear breaches (we can ask Valve to act on an account, and report illegal content — especially anything involving children — to the authorities), and reply when we need more information. We aim to review reports within 7 days.
5. Online interactions are not rated
Voice and text chat come from other players, not from us, and are not reviewed or rated. Play with people you trust if you want a calmer lobby, and never share personal information.
6. Health
See the photosensitivity warning shown when the game starts. Take a break every hour.
7. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do. Questions: dyvexarstudio@gmail.com.
